Rodric Bell, M.D.

Medical Director

Highly regarded by his patients according to patient satisfaction surveys, Dr. Bell has been Medical Director at HealthSouth Tustin Rehabilitation Hospital since 1998.  He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and completed his residency training at the University of California-Irvine in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, where he finished as Chief Resident in 1996.  He also completed training at UCLA in medical acupuncture, in addition to receiving further training in pain medicine.Currently, Dr. Bell is board certified in both Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.

Myra Bandawal, MSN, RN, ANP, ONC

Chief Nursing Officer

Myra joined HealthSouth Tustin Rehabilitation Hospital’s leadership team in early 2011.  She brings more than 15 years of acute care experience to her role, with a specialty focus in the area of orthopedics. Myra is an alumni of Ball State University School of Nursing, where she earned several nursing degrees including her bachelor’s of science, a master’s degree, and an Adult Nurse Practitioner’s degree.  Expanding her knowledge further, Myra also holds a specialty certification as an Orthopedic Nurse.

Lindsey Barrett

Director of Case Management

Lindsey has more than 10 years of experience in healthcare, with focus in the areas of case management discharge planning, payor and physician relations and social services.  She has worked for HealthSouth Tustin Rehabilitation since 2008.  She earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara.  

John Bowie, PharmD

Director, Pharmacy

Dr. Bowie recently joined HealthSouth Tustin Rehabilitation Hospital as director of Pharmacy in October, 2011.  Before transferring to California, he worked at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital at Las Vegas since 2001.  Dr. Bowie received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology at Northern Arizona University in 1978 and received his doctorate in pharmacy from Idaho State University in 1997, graduating with high honors. He completed his clinical rotations at University Medical Center in Las Vegas and has specialized in pediatrics, geriatrics and home infusion.

Lee Fallon-Way

Director, Marketing Operations

Lee has more than a decade of experience in healthcare, with a concentration in the areas of business development, payer and physician relations, public relations, marketing, advertising and sales. She joined HealthSouth Tustin Rehabilitation Hospital in 2008 and currently oversees strategic development initiatives with oversight of the hospital’s liaison team, whose territories cover the entire span of Orange County.  Lee earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and is an active member of several business networks within the community.  In addition to working cohesively with an inspiring liaison team, she says the most gratifying part of her job is, “The impassioned drive to provide members of our community access to acute rehabilitation, which ultimately improves their quality of life, and that of their loved ones. The success stories at our hospital are infinite.” 

Gretchin Pecher, MPT

Director, Therapy Operations

In her role as DTO, Gretchin brings a wealth of experience that includes more than 14 years in the acute rehabilitation level of care. After joining the HealthSouth Tustin Rehabilitation Hospital team as a staff physical therapist in June 2003, Gretchin was eventually promoted to director of Therapy Operations in February 2008.  She currently serves as an active member in both the Orange County Stroke Rehabilitation Network and on the Program Advisory Committee for the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Concorde College.  Gretchin earned both her bachelor’s degree in Biology and master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University.

Paula Redmond

Controller

Paula joined HealthSouth Tustin Rehabilitation Hospital in 2006.  In her involved role as Controller, she has the oversight of several business functions within the hospital including accounts payable and receivable, billing, health information management and materials management.  Paula has spent the last 15 years of her career in healthcare, and before joining HealthSouth she worked in several industry sectors including general acute care, cardiac specialty care, and as practice administrator for a multi-specialty group.  She is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

JoAnn Roiz

Director, Human Resources

JoAnn is certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR). She brings more than 25 years of human resource management expertise to HealthSouth Tustin Rehabilitation Hospital.  Having worked in several business environments including small business, retail and manufacturing, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her role as director of Human Resources.  JoAnn has been with the hospital since 2007, and is currently an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), the American Society of Healthcare Human Resources Management (ASHHRA) and the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA).
